Great UI, flexible deployment options, cheaper than alternatives, good support.
A lot of flexibility in terms of how to deploy servers - public/private clouds, bare metal, VM instances etc. Nice UI Flexible billing models (either pay per month or pay per server) Cheaper than alternatives Great documentation Support was excellent when I had a problem with my bill. We use the system to monitor the health of multiple VMs running on our private cloud and they are great! It's super easy to get going and it has lots of useful dashboards and graphs. We've even used it to alert us to when a VM was failing to start up properly. It works brilliantly with other products such as Splunk, Datadog and Grafana so you can easily aggregate data across multiple systems and services. Highly recommended.

- You don't know what you're paying until you actually create an account.
- Our main goal is to log data to a single S3 bucket so we could just run queries against that instead of pushing data into BigQuery.
