I purchased this product for use with Windows XP and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6. No additional software installation or special configuration required. The only thing worth noting is that the Linux system reports "usbinit endpoint not found" when it starts, but it starts and runs on its own. It worked after I plugged it in and started both computers. The switch button on the lectern is particularly useful: you no longer have to crawl under the lectern to switch between systems, as was the case with the last KVM-KVM.
