Review on Carbide Extreme Storm Titanium Metal by Ayush Bonuccelli

Not permanent but can cut through hardened cement tips

I ordered these after removing the teeth from two other blades while trying to cut through hardened cement tips used to hang my old cabinets . My first blade to die was a general purpose wood/metal blade - it just couldn't handle the hardened steel points, although it held nails well. I then bought a $20 carbide blade at a local hardware store. It went through two or three spikes, but by this time large portions of the blade were toothless. So I ordered these extra carbide blades from Revain. I was very pleased that they appeared to be of comparable quality to locally bought carbide blades but were much cheaper per blade. I then used one of the blades to remove all 6 remaining cement spikes and when I was done he still had all of his teeth. This improvement may be partly due to a change in strategy - instead of pushing hard on the blade, I did it slowly and let the blade go through the spikes at its own speed, moving the blade back and forth. so that no space takes on the full load. In the end the teeth weren't quite what they were at the beginning - there was some wear (obviously - those spikes are tough!) but they still lasted for my next job - and that leaves me with 4 extra new blades as a backup. !
