I decided to try this on a rusty 3/8" bolt that I needed to remove to replace a rotten deck post. This was my first use of these vibrating "Stormmetal" blades. as seen in the picture after about 1/4 of the bolt has gone through. Perhaps the bolt is too big and the blade overheats, causing the damage shown. It was in a hard-to-reach place. I decided to keep trying them: they worked well on wood or other softer materials and on a nail or two. They fit my DeWalt 20V vibratory tool.

Do you have nails? These are the blades YOU NEED!

Definitely the BEST metal cutting blades on the market. Used blades from Bosch, Masterforce, Rockwell, Dremel. None of the other brands were able to cut more than 7 nails before they ran out of teeth to cut anything, including butter. These Imperial Blade blades work perfectly. The first blade I used cut through over 177 nails and screws, the second blade cut through 6-1/4" J-bolts and 5/8" bolts. I even cut through 6 stainless steel screws and a 3/8" grade 5 bolt. No other blade I have used…

Super brittle isn't best for this type of instrument.

This cutting tip was recommended to me by a frequent store. I bought it specifically to cut old 304 stainless steel pipe stuck in an aluminum pole that says everywhere: metal, thick metal, steel pipe, etc. But just a few seconds after my cut, it broke. Then it exploded again. So in less than a minute and only about 1/8" through my 1/2" stainless steel it became what you see in the photo. due to the failure of that blade, although Dewalt is specifically listed as being suitable for that blade…

Not permanent but can cut through hardened cement tips

I ordered these after removing the teeth from two other blades while trying to cut through hardened cement tips used to hang my old cabinets . My first blade to die was a general purpose wood/metal blade - it just couldn't handle the hardened steel points, although it held nails well. I then bought a $20 carbide blade at a local hardware store. It went through two or three spikes, but by this time large portions of the blade were toothless. So I ordered these extra carbide blades from Revain. I
