I specifically wanted to use a 6 point spark plug wrench instead of 12 in case thread corrosion made the job difficult. I was a little nervous as I had never used a spark plug boot with a magnet, particularly for fear that the magnet would interfere with the seat seating on the spark plug. I was also concerned about the company's name, thinking it was geared towards motorcycle engines. The length of the socket is perfect for the spark plug and grips the full length of the hex. The outer diameter of the bushing was small enough to fit into my car's spark plug terminal. The magnet was strong enough to pull the old connector out of the socket. Using some of the suggestions posted, I will store the socket in its shipping crate or plastic bag to keep the magnet and hex socket free of magnetic debris.
