For those just curious, if you want to buy rails for this fan you'll need to order them specifically from Lowe's or Home Depot - it requires a 1/2 inch diameter. lower rod. The standard rods sold at Lowe's/HD are 3/4 inch. Although the specs say this fan can be mounted in multiple positions, the included hardware does not allow mounting to a vaulted ceiling, so I had to purchase a separate mounting canopy to mount it to my vaulted ceiling. The fan is quiet and seems to work well - at maximum speed it really starts to move and pushes a lot of air.
