Paint cracked on handle on first use

Get what you pay for. Cheap brushes. They're great for kids to use and learn about the technique for, but you'd expect the paint on the handle to at least hold up to the squeeze of a kid's hand when first using them. The paint cracking occurred before washing the brush after the first painting with it. (The washi tape on the handle was for my kids to distinguish between their sets of brushes).
