I actually bought these based on a review that the ones this person and others got were with a red coated metal cord, I like the look of them but I have a clear cord that I complain about Don't worry too much, the price is great, I would really like to find them in metal from this brand. On the other hand, they're PERFECT FOR SOCKS and for people who HATE DOUBLE POINTS! My colons always have them dangling at the seams, too long for basic sock knitting. They are AMAZING, a perfect match for my Rowan Superwash, the socks look professional, all the stitching is nice, even, snug and consistent! My double socks make my socks look like they were made by Mrs. Weasley instead of sweaters, all lumpy and shapeless. Of course my hands are as small as an 8 year old's, I've seen 8 year olds with large hands and a 4 foot Asian with equally sized hands (I'm not Asian and I'm 5ft 2ft). ), so I can't say they were any more or less difficult to hold on to than the other pins (except for 32, which I used to trim a black mohair Halloween scarf with an old antique look to match the witch costume make).
