I actually bought these based on a review that the ones this person and others got were with a red coated metal cord, I like the look of them but I have a clear cord that I complain about Don't worry too much, the price is great, I would really like to find them in metal from this brand. I didn't give five stars because they are so new to me. I can't tell you if they are strong or will last, I just received them. They are SMALL - much smaller than I thought. I think nine inches measures EVERYTHING, including tiny pins. The pens are really small though! You can knit them very easily, in fact I make adult socks out of them! Yes you can!
