Ok I'll deal with that first. This lid is not 100% leak proof and is not advertised as such. It's leak-proof and handles it damn well. When the full liquid flows out slowly, especially more liquid liquids such as water. Thicker liquids like coffee or orange juice are almost non-existent. Almost no shedding halfway. The picture posted is sweet tea and half full, tilted 90 degrees, and it doesn't leak at all. This cover was made with convenience in mind. I bought it to keep my Yeti from spilling when riding over bumps or off-road. I have to say that I am more than satisfied with this product.
