I don't have a 30 day window, 2 months since I ordered it it started SPARKING on the wire where the switch is! Absolutely no reason for it, it was used indoors, installed properly, we have no electrical issues that could cause this (and no issues with anything connected before or after this item!) ASSUME this was not a DANGEROUS FIRE HAZARD . Easy to hang with a long cord. The frosted plastic shade is about the thickness of a plastic food bowl, but from a distance it looks like it's glass. Can be paired with almost any look - many plug-in lights are chunky, gaudy, retro or encrusted with crystals. if it weren't for the FIRE HAZARD from sparks near the pull switch, we'd still be using it today! I had no choice but to throw it away as no problems were found upon inspection. Take care and stay safe when you buy this. We had it in the bedroom, I would keep an eye on it if I were a buyer.
