Great product! I have a Himalayan salt lamp that weighs 20 pounds, is 12 inches high and 7.5 inches wide and has a very dense structure. The 25W bulbs did not heat up the bulb. A NOTICE. The air temperature in your home plays a role in how well your lamp heats up. It's summer in Texas and my AC is set to 74 degrees and the ceiling fan is running. In the winter months I switch back to a 25 watt or even a 15 watt light bulb. I switched to this bulb to see if it would work and it worked great! The light bulb is also adjustable. I leave the light on 24/7 and so far it has not heated up my socket/dimmer. This bulb can heat up your salt lamp more than you need and it feels hot. According to website research, it should only be warm. You need a dimmer for this. But don't worry, Himalayan salt can withstand 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Just keep an eye on the outlet and switch. Most outlets are rated at 75 watts. so you should be fine.
