I bought and installed this lighting kit last year after not using it for months. They performed well from the first time. I must tell everyone that if not known, the lights should be turned off before the trailer is submerged. I know my dad told me that when I was a kid and it has never failed me. Apparently the original trailer lights never went out as they only worked when they wanted to and I found a couple of blown bulbs as well as a few other issues. If you're looking to change your headlights, it's a good idea to make sure you've changed the wiring as well. It's not really difficult, it just takes a lot of time. Also, remember to waterproof all connections, especially if using boat trailer lights. I was worried I would have to buy LEDs but I'm pretty glad I didn't spend the extra money as they are bright enough. If needed, I would buy them again in a heartbeat. Oh, keep in mind that if your trailer is over 80 inches wide, you may need to purchase lights for the center back of the trailer. They can be easily connected to new lines.
