Nice and bright: Trailer Accessory

I don't remember the instructions that came with it, but they install like any other trailer light, except for the extra ground wire that you attach to the screw that secures it to the trailer. . They are much brighter than standard

Just installed them. Looks good, works good

Just installed them. Appearance is fairly well constructed, works well, fairly bright. I don't know how they will hold up over time, but I think they will hold up well for a long time.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Only available in white

Works for my trailer

Not sure if they can be submerged but I use them on a general purpose motorcycle/trailer and they seem waterproof enough for that purpose. I don't think I would trust them with my boat trailer. They're not the best of the line and I'm not sure how long they will last, but for the price they seem decent.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

not the best trailer accessory

Installed on my boat trailer 4 months ago, they never submerge because I mount them over vertical rails. They're nice and bright when they work properly, though. Last time the passenger side stopped working, on closer inspection only a few LED cells worked. Solid ground (first thing I checked) Connected the light directly to the battery, same result. The LEDs failed after 4 months. can't recommend this.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

False/Misleading Description

Hardware is not stainless steel, it's galvanized steel. The only stainless screw was used to attach the ground wire. I replaced all lens mounting screws with real stainless steel screws, as well as the bolts for the two mounting studs. I did not replace the mounting studs as I was afraid of damaging the body of the flashlight if I tried to remove them. The bodies are definitely not waterproof as there were no gaskets between the lens and the body. If they hold out until spring, I'll be…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Easy to install as long as it works ok

All these lights are LED, no LED for turn signals and brake lights and regular license plate lights like some others on the market. Perfect fit for my existing holes. I bought these lights separately and bought the wiring harness separately as all the 'kits' have things I don't need or need. Can't rate water resistance yet as I haven't submerged my trailer yet, but so far I have no reason to doubt it. As others have noted, the 4 free bars on the reflectors are nice too.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • Not sure

Good for price and brightness but

They replaced a kit I had for years, I broke one, it was cheaper to replace a pair. Easy to install, much brighter than the old block. I noticed a lot of gaps in the case, unscrewed the four screws, the back of the LED panel is flooded with water, it's ok. Installed and the first time both lenses broke. Frame. I had to run into Wally's world with my crazy glue and tape to patch the road. They lasted less than 75 miles. I will find a way to salvage them for a good price for what you get but my…

Very easy to install!

12/01/2018 In this case I had to rewire the entire trailer as it was in very poor condition. What I replaced were regular lightbulbs that were corroded by road salt and not stored in the garage. The side marker lights were also in bad shape, but I was able to soak them in apple cider vinegar to get rid of the rust. When reassembling I used dielectric grease on all electrical contacts. The taillights themselves are high quality and LED, consume very little power and are meant to last a long…

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
