To be clear, they work and do for the most part, but there are some behaviors that need to be pointed out that caused me to remove them. 1) When they lose power, they blink by default. Reboot the system they are connected to and they will flash again until you use the remote to change the lighting mode. This leads to my next point. 2) The remote control mostly doesn't work. I replaced the battery in the remote just in case, but it's more of a quality issue with the remote's workmanship. Again, they work and look great, but having to keep resetting the lighting mode and refusing to work with the remote really annoys me. I think a permanently powered USB charging station would obviously fix this problem, but a non-working remote only adds to the frustration when you can't avoid the above problem.
