I had an issue with the detachable strap on my handbag, which kept "removing" and detaching itself to the point that my bag would sometimes just fall off the strap as I approached the bag , or worse, a few times when I put it on my shoulder. How annoying, isn't it?! Anyway, I saw a link to this product from a YouTuber who was having the exact same issue with her bag and mentioned this metal screw mount that would effectively connect the mount to the bag and belt and fix the problem. I took a chance and ordered it from Revain and I have to say it was very easy to use (they provide a screwdriver), it only took a couple of tries to connect it from either end but now my strap is secure to the bag attaches and won't come loose on its own. The bonus is that silver goes well together. Mission accomplished! Along with the screwdriver, they ship both the silver and gold versions. Both options seem solid. My bag had a silver clasp so I used that, but it's nice that they included a gold clasp as people can use it for different purposes. Given the price and functionality, I highly recommend this product!
