Review on BFGoodrich g-Force Winter 2 185/65 R15 92T by Mateusz Praga ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

The entire civilized world classifies our country as a developing, third world country, and they sell us all sorts of garbage and almost all winter tires are buzzing and people are used to it. And what is sold with us is not sold in Europe, Japan and the United States. So I started looking for tires that are sold in Europe - in France, Italy, Germany, and especially in Finland and Sweden, where there is no less snow than we have. These tires turned out to be one of the most popular products (studded tires are almost never bought in Europe, even in northern countries, because they destroy asphalt, and Europeans are economical). Added after 1.5 years: I changed the car, got a nokian nordman rs2 with it, they don’t steer, they buzz, typical nasty winter tires, I drove them for half a year, and bought this goodrich again. After the Nokian, the difference is simply endless, they steer, there is almost no noise from the tires at all, I even stopped distinguishing between new smooth asphalt and the old one with protruding pebbles, aerodynamic body noise is more audible. He revealed this magic of Goodrich, they have an acoustic pattern, they create opposite sound frequencies and muffle themselves (like noise reduction in headphones). The pictures show that the side protector is either narrow with 1 sipe, or wide with 2 sipes, and this is all odd and illogical, similar to computer simulation, a person would not think of it that way. In the center there are cutouts of different depths, sometimes with a lamella, sometimes without. Just amazing tires, now my father drives them all year round and I bought myself again. Down with summer tires and useless shoes)

Pros
  • It’s hard to believe, but they don’t hum at all, moreover, they are also quieter than summer ones. And at the same time, they dig snow perfectly, rake snow porridge, etc., everything is like in normal winter tires. I drove over a hundred on snow slush, the car does not float, and according to tests they are one of the best in terms of hydroplaning resistance. Feedback on the steering wheel is the same as on summer tires, this also applies to taxiing and vibrations, on winter tires this is also a rarity. Beautiful design. I took them as all-weather, I will ride all year round, because. in the summer at the dacha the roads are so-so, summer tires will not pass. The braking distance on asphalt is 45m, almost like in summer.
Cons
  • rigid - a lack of all modern tires. I had an all-weather matador adheza, here they were soft, like Soviet tires used to be, and then a tooth crusher. But the matadors are buzzing, but these are not. Added after 1.5 years: matador has already forgotten, and after nokian there is no difference in stiffness.
