I bought it for my girlfriend's birthday and she just had problems. One of the first times she wore them, her right spike on the stationary bike came off, causing her foot to constantly slip off the pedal. The instructor then helped re-tighten the spike as of course my friend doesn't have tools to do it herself. After telling myself about my experience, I removed both slats and reattached them to make sure they didn't rip off and provided a secure fit. Shortly thereafter, she became ill and was unable to spin for about a month. She just got back to class last week and her right shoe was loose again. This time she fell completely off the bike. Needless to say, she will never wear them again.
