Main threads stripped in middle of pulling off second wheel bearing
Bought to replace rear wheel bearings on 2004 VW Jetta. First side went off no problem. Second side the threads stripped out on the puller halfway into the job. I had another gear puller that finished the job.There is so much play on the main bolt that it is bound to happen. I don’t know if that is part of the quality control they have. I have another puller and it doesn’t have the play in it but it was 3 times the price.Wouldn’t buy again and I’d be cautious on this one, you may get stuck halfway into the job and be toast.
- Fits light duty saws and drill and every little tool I have nicely light tools only
- The wire stripper is not precise enough, causing accidental cuts
