Bubbles are everywhere!

I followed the installation instructions exactly (cleaned with a damp cloth, dry cloth, "hinges" glued in, protective film removed, protective film glued in). When the protective film was applied to the glass surface of the iPad, it left "air pockets" that were absolutely impossible to remove with the little plastic "scraper" that came with it. I even carefully lifted the protector to drop it a second, third time. same result, bubbles! So I thought maybe one of them is defective. I did the same procedure with the second protector and. same result! This is terrible - don't waste your money!
