I gave 5 stars because of the price This massage ball achieves there are pricier options that are probably of higher quality but for the affordable price of THIS item this is a really good deal The plastic handle doesn't slip much when you hold it but does when you use oils or massage creams , it can be a little tricky. I bought this to untangle knots in my muscles after a workout - its small size makes it easy to throw in my purse to take to work (my sore muscles always seem to disappear the next day if I'm stuck at my desk for 9 hours).
