Review on 🐠 Plastic Aquarium Fish Breeding Box - Satellite L (New) for External and Hanging Use by Kevin Reyes

This is the biggest breeder addiction I have ever seen. You could divide it into three compartments but I wouldn't, they are too small for a 2 to 3 inch adult fish. The day I got it in the mail I put a pregnant Mollys in it. The next day I had 24 live juveniles and the mother was comfortably swimming in them. I would give five stars if there weren't two flaws. 1. Missing a tiny piece of plastic connecting the breeder to the tank (this isn't critical, I have one of the two pieces and it seems fine, but you need both for the best work), and another error is that when I connect my air pump to it and turn it on, the bubbles make a real noise. But it provides enough ventilation for the juveniles and has those neat little gates so nobody gets sucked into the main tank through the return water gate. I'll probably try a more powerful air pump and see if that calms the situation down, or maybe remove the nozzle that directs the water flow into the breeder. If I needed a second tank for spawning I would have no hesitation in going with mesh or suction cup brooders (I've tried both but lost all or most broods, mesh brooders break too easily and other problems as well as plastic suction cup brooders have vents that are too large). for small fry).
