I really wanted to like this board. The material of the largest board is corrugated to prevent the puzzle pieces from lying flat. I gave him a few days thinking it was just the transport but he still noticed the waves. The only reason I didn't return it is because I like the two little sidebars, they work great. Now all I have to do is use the big board as a cover for another board I was about to buy. I don't recommend a big board.
