Review on Logitech G305 Lightspeed: The Ultimate Wireless Gaming Mouse by Vinay Verma ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

So, I used the mouse for a few weeks before writing this review. Before that, I had a Logitech MK250 kit for a very long time with which I was satisfied. But now I wanted a new mouse with extra. keys and see how a large number of dpi differs from a small one, because my kit is old and office and sometimes the sensor broke in a fit of some kind of battle))) I was looking for what to take for a long time and settled on this option. I took it for 3250 at the beginning of June 2022. The pros, I think, are understandable, but now more about what I didn’t like. The form. I use a finger grip and this mouse is too big for him and its shape contributes to the fact that the mouse slips out of my hand (a normal, male hand). After half an hour of work, my wrist began to hurt. Material. My old kit was bought 10 years ago for 1000. and I must say the material of the old mouse seems better than the new one. Soft. It is generally something with something. Created a profile for the game. It automatically turns on when you enter the game. Switching ALT+TAB to the desktop does not change the profile, it remains the game one. The same DPI in the game profile and in the default profile differ significantly. How this can be is not at all clear. Those. when testing a profile in the software, 1000 dpi in the game profile reacts less sharply than in the standard profile. Noticeably very strong. When the computer wakes up from sleep mode, the program does not see the device at all and says that it is sleeping, although the mouse is working. When you exit the game, the pop-up window stating that the profile has changed to the standard one in the lower right corner of the screen sometimes does not disappear and continues to stick around there (I already read this problem from someone in the reviews). As for the loud click of the keys - I think this is subjective. For example, it’s normal for me, although in the last mouse I had silent mikriks. The wheel is really strange, I can’t say that my finger rubs against it, but sometimes it’s really not very convenient to use it. On the old mouse, the wheel was better. In short, a highly controversial unit.

Pros
  • - good sensor, no matter how hard you try - additional buttons on the left are quite convenient
Cons
  • - body shape - materials - software
