These wheels quickly prepare the surface of any metal or wood I need to clean. They remove paint, varnish, corrosion, etc. from everything but oil! They eat into wood, so be careful. They use a 46-grit silicon carbide abrasive bonded to a purple nylon mesh. I can use them with my 4 1/2" angle grinder. The listing says they are rated at 11500 MAX RPM.
