Review on 🔧 Precision Alignment Indicator for Calibrating Machinery Presses by Agustin Bush

I bought this gauge to set my new sawstop. Some of the reviews freaked me out and thought I might need a much more expensive tool, but this one turned out great. It was very reproducible and appears to be well done. Easy to use. I was able to set my sawstop to .002" and could have gotten an even better result, but it seems to have been the tolerance of the sawstop disc I was measuring with. I then tested it on my old Bosch table saw. Pretty accurate, but the fence was terrible. Deviation up to 0.045" depending on where the other end of the fence was trying to grab when I blocked it. I see that to use my Bosch for woodworking I have to set the fence with an angle every time. After two thumb injuries, which luckily healed, I decided I was far enough and bought a sawstop. Also thanks to this tool and the new saw I can now make precise cuts with much less effort.
