Accurate, repeatable, works great

I bought this gauge to set my new sawstop. Some of the reviews freaked me out and thought I might need a much more expensive tool, but this one turned out great. It was very reproducible and appears to be well done. Easy to use. I was able to set my sawstop to .002" and could have gotten an even better result, but it seems to have been the tolerance of the sawstop disc I was measuring with. I then tested it on my old Bosch table saw. Pretty accurate, but the fence was terrible. Deviation up to…

Inaccurate accuracy, notch uncertainty, surface scratches

This pickup is better than the ITool, but not by much. Cannot use this product for the following reasons: It uses side and bottom screws to adjust the height and width of the bevel, but the bottom screws remove the finish on the DWE7491RS table saw that I use when sliding along the track. You can adjust it a little tight, but the screws loosen quickly and you get a little play. Finally, and probably most importantly, the dial gauge it contains is rubbish. I marked the spot on the saw with a…

Enough to work with wood.

Anyone who has taken woodworking seriously long enough will tell you that at some point you have to stop chasing perfection. I've read a few reviews that say the dial gauge is inaccurate and there are too many variables to make it inconsistent. Well, if you're trying to make a Space-X part, yeah, don't buy that. But if you're trying to set up your table saw, this is perfect. It took me about 10 minutes to open the box and toss the instructions in the bin before setting the corner slot to 0.0005
