Take my rating with caution as I only have a 10 gallon aquarium for my aquatic plants. I had a small fish there, but unfortunately he is no longer with us. I could tell she felt she needed more space even at those 10 gallons so I will no longer be keeping the fish in the tanks at this house. But I am very satisfied with the water plants. Things have been a little different since the fish have gone and I need to keep a better eye on them. They include all the materials and you simply pour some water into a small glass bottle, then add four drops of the solution and immediately compare it to the pictures. At the moment I don't have any other test kit to compare with, but it has been tested optimally and the aquarium is very satisfied at the moment. I know some people prefer test strips. If I had to choose between these two I would probably choose them but I have no problem with this set and love it.
