Bought this for my 2 year old son. So far, so good. Makes great soaps. My hair is clean and smells great afterwards! I also bought an air conditioner and a detangler. I've used Shea Moisture Coconut and Hibiscus products on his hair but I didn't like that the shampoo didn't lather well and the hair cream eventually started leaving his hair rough and with residue. So far (have used it twice) Cantu has made my son's hair more manageable, smells great and I haven't noticed much build up. I braid his hair and plan for it to keep growing, so having something to keep his hair clean, soft and manageable is important. He is pure African American.
