Review on Xiaomi Mi Smart Sensor Set by Adam Koodziejek ᠌
Not a good product, not worth the money.
It was a mix from vesa that I found on 4pda, and with that, I was able to change the region to China and plug it into a Chinese outlet. The gateway's features are limited in comparison to the Chinese version. I used it as a test, and the total cost with bonuses was close to $2,000 USD. Can be had for this price. Sonoff and wireless sensors form the basis of my smart home setup. The pricing is much lower than the Xiaomi version, however the application's automation features are limited in comparison.
- AC adapter with a European connector
- No radio required; all sensing is done locally. Chinese switches and sensors won't plug in unless you do the tambourine dance.
