It's still GPX: TV & Video

I've never had good experiences with GPX products. They seem to make the most beautiful electronics at a very reasonable price, but don't expect them to last. I have owned many GPX products over the years from boomboxes, players, portable CD players to alarm clocks and now a DVD player. I have vowed in the past to stay away from anything GPX related and I advise everyone to do the same. Unfortunately, I got this jewel of a DVD player as a Christmas present. I saw the new GPX logo and was hoping it would change after a few years. But that's not the case. It's still the same old GPX electronics you can buy at your local Walgreen's or Family Dollar store. Useless. Like I said I got this on Christmas day, after watching 3 movies I returned it on New Year's Eve and got a "wrong drive" error. I tried 3 discs, all with the same result (all 3 play fine on another DVD player). On New Year's Day he kept saying "No Disc". As I said, the same old GPX. Here are the advantages: * Slim and compact design * Very easy to connect and use * Very affordable price. placed around other electronics * No Pan & Scan or other options you would expect from a standard DVD player. Personally, GPX has done nothing to improve the quality of its products. I would pay $500 for a Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba or Phillips before spending $20 on a GPX. you are so bad Heck I would even go through RCA there because by the time you burn them you've spent so much just buying them for a year. PURCHASE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
