Review on 🌊 Stay Safe at Sea: Stohlquist Kids Life Jacket, Coast Guard Approved Life Vest for Children by Nick Mcvey

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A child with a sensory processing disorder wore this jacket with no problem.

I like that this jacket can hold the weight for two and a half years, which is a big kid. I love that it has a floating head to keep the face up. Very easy to put on, the zip is very useful and the chest straps took a while to get tight enough when I first put them on, but afterwards as long as you have the strength in your hands and arms you can leave them adjusted on in the right place and simply open and close the jacket and it's ready for the next use. The fit was snug enough that I was able to put the vest on properly (if the child is on their feet in front of you, if you are in front or behind you should be able to pull the life vest's shoulder up and off the ground with it the jacket does not slip off the neck/face). This was also possible without the use of a crotch strap. The only reason this only got four stars for comfort and value as I wish there were two separate crotch straps for little girls isn't that big of a deal but for little boys it can become a comfort issue when trying to use those To choose side of their "part" put the strap on as you don't want to tighten it on everything properly as this can potentially cause friction and fuss. An item he used in the pool but also on a fishing boat and while swimming in a small calm area. rivers. It worked well in all of these areas and was easy enough to wash off with cold water. I would like to see a slightly lower price for all jackets, especially since we can only use them for one summer. Although a Class 2 SCG approved by you, this jacket is not designed to automatically roll an unconscious person or child into a face up position, the child must be conscious and relaxed enough to levitate some children you can work with and conditions to be able to do so, even if you have a special needs child, which may not be possible. That's not a negative, it's a fact of most life jackets, but it's definitely something to consider if you have a special needs child or your child is just not very comfortable in the water - albeit for some reason he is falls. Jet ski and panic, this is not the jacket for you.
