Review on Nikon D7100 DX-Format CMOS Digital ๐Ÿ“ท SLR (Body Only) with 24.1 Megapixel Sensor by Hwang Sunshin แ Œ

Average purchase, there is something to complain about.

It became possible to change the D7000 to the D7100 (with the second camera, the first NIKON D 810). I have good optics NIKON 24-70 / 2.8, 85-1.4, etc. What immediately caught my eye: -Dynamic range is just awful. Either the sky is heavily embossed, or everything else is dark. The matrix mode simply does not work, I constantly enter exposure compensation, use other measurements, bracketing, etc. Then be sure to pull RAW. About automatic modes! Whoever writes that a DSLR is not for this, but I sometimes use them. Well, this is just horror. I'm not talking about correct, just tolerable exposure. Except as in ideal shooting conditions, you won't get! Those. sometimes, you want to take a walk and lazily take pictures, forget about it with this camera. Everything is by hand only. -whatever they write about the large number of pixels and the shake from this - no, it shoots very sharply, the focus is right on target. -The matrix is โ€‹โ€‹noisier than in 7000, when reduced to the same photo size. -Colors shifted to gray-green. Summary: If you shoot exclusively in "M" mode with RAW processing - (be sure to draw out highlights and shadows) - the camera is good. For everything else, it just doesn't work.

Pros
  • Ergonomics, autofocus, image quality.
Cons
  • Dynamic Range
