Good tires in the past. While they're always a little flattering, the excellent all-round profile made it worth it. No longer. They're clearly cheap and uneven, with poor compound and flat protection. It's been 15 minutes since my first ride with them. Perhaps they could go with a vintage restoration that was more pretty than useful, but if you really want to ride or commute on something other than the roads of gold, look elsewhere. They were bought to replace Continental Contact Sport tires which are the same price. or cheaper. Put those tires back on and they'll still be going strong after 2500 miles. Very sad performance by Panaracer.
