This "simple" polished brass handle is generally good. The mechanics appear to be well made and easy to install, as are most modern closures. BTW the finish is more polished than the photo in the description and matches other "brushed brass" door parts I have. The reason for deducting two stars is the finish (maybe I'm being a bit harsh here). The first thing I noticed upon unboxing the bar was the surface roughness on some parts of the bar. Most of the bolt is smooth, as a polished finish should be, but some areas are rough to the touch and noticeable with every use. I pretty much got what I paid for. I'm not complaining, just describing.
