I recently tried outdoor rock climbing for the first time and was immediately hooked. The first time I just rented gear but quickly decided I wanted to start getting my own stuff. Unlike a gym, you can't always rent just what you need. This pendant is the first piece of my personal gear that I have received. I have a waist of about 28" (I'm 5ft 3") and size XS-M fits me. The legs and waist have a wide range of adjustments. The material loops are not closed like in other harnesses, but mostly resemble paracord on the outside. It comes with the same mesh bag as any other harness. Fresh out of the box it ends up being a little stiff and I'm not sure how soft it is, but with use it started to wear down a bit and became more comfortable. That's all I need for the top rope, but the gear loops are big enough to hold a lot of costume or gym gear. It is important to note that in addition to the security loop, there is a rigid connection between the legs and the waist.
