Review on 🔔 Coghlan's Function Whistle: A Reliable and Versatile Outdoor Survival Companion by Xiaomeng Chang

Very happy with it. I was planning a tourist trip and wanted to take a mini thermometer with me. Found this and ended up replacing my old signal mirror, tiny LED and compass with it. That ended the weight savings and the thermometer AND the magnifying glass were born. I used to like having a magnifying glass for splinters or whatever, so this is a nice addition. I don't need a whistle as it's built into all backpacks these days, but it doesn't hurt to have one. The only thing that could be improved is the attachment cord. It's a little odd, but I could easily replace it. ETA The light broke on my second trip with this one. The whole cover flew off, the battery and the light part fell out. I still play with him. I'm checking the temperature obsessively. I attached it to the shoulder strap so I have to struggle every time I put my backpack on and off. I wish there was a better, sturdier way to attach it to my backpack and still be able to read the temp while I'm moving, but I haven't figured it out yet. I will buy a new one to get the light back.
