I'm a photographer and I've finally decided to invest a little in a better monitor. I used to only edit on the screen of a 2018 15-inch MacBook Pro. The first day I owned it, I was scrolling through my photos and found some bad edits under my images. They just weren't visible on the small screen. It's amazing how much that has changed. I will say this, there are a few dead pixels in the top left corner of my display. But I had to hunt to find her. They do not affect my use of the monitor in any way. I don't notice them at all unless I move my face 2 inches away from the screen and look directly at them. I also played Skyrim on this monitor. I used to use a Benq 1080p monitor from 2014. I don't know the model number but it wasn't the best at anything. That, 60Hz, was probably one of the smoothest 60Hz I've ever had. Stunning colors (of course) to top it all off. It can't be made for games. But at least in casual games it works great.
