New improved version definitely improved

I've read many reviews on these over the years and everyone agreed they were cheap, the mounting screws were crooked and the instructions were poor. This review was written on 11/2020 and I can assure people that these issues are no longer an issue. I have ordered 4 rooms. Each one was well made, the mounting screws screwed in easily (by hand, of course), and installation was fairly easy. Follow the installation instructions. Previous reviews said these instructions were ignored, but now they are more comprehensive and the size of drill you need to use is 100% accurate (earlier versions had smaller screws and should use a 1/8 bit. Only use it , if you want to drill pilot holes). The correct bit size is 5/16". Rock a little as you get in and out to give yourself some room. The 5/16" bit will drill a hole that is COMFORTABLE, but that's it, what you want with him. I did. You don't even have to use adhesive gel/silicone to hold them in place. As others have suggested, place your number on the template (screws on paper) and mark with a marker or pen where these screws will go into the templates, using a level and a ruler to keep them even and straight, then use your hole punch to hammer in the marks where your screws will meet the template. Tap each template well, then write down the numbers. Drill the holes and give that little action as the drill goes in and out. You'll find the fit is still tight but precise. At this point I went from one number to the next by simply putting the screws in the holes and then tapping it, placing a cloth over each number and using a Gummimo tablet to tap each screw area of each nu. mber voila. Fast and easy and accurate. It took me about 15 minutes to set the 4 digits and again I didn't have to use epoxy or silicone to hold them in place. Make sure you use a stone nozzle. The rubber mallet is the secret weapon here. You can apply some pressure to the installation process without damaging or bending the numbers. Just make sure you cover them with a rag or something so you don't leave a mark. Overall very happy with it and the process itself. Even a beginner can handle it. and you will be fine.
