Review on Travel Berkey Filter Filters Fluoride by Shawn Reiter

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very happy with this purchase

I love our Berkey! We have a very small kitchen. Although it doesn't "fit under" the top cabinet, it sits on a counter in front of the cabinet and the top door opens without hitting the lid. We looked at the spout so it was over the edge of the counter and we could easily fill our pitchers with water without tipping them over. Our sink wasn't deep enough for that. My smart roommate found out that we can easily fill it up with the spray nozzle from the sink. I did months of research before making this purchase and am very concerned about the safety of our tap water and do not want to consume fluoride or other toxins. We live in Colorado and today the news broke that 3 cities have unsafe drinking water levels. We use our filtered water for hot pot, cooking, drinking, making CPAP coffee and sinus irrigation. I refilled the lid once when there was some water left at the bottom and it spilled onto the kitchen counter. Now I make sure the bottom is empty before refilling by pouring the remaining water into the pitcher to chill in the fridge before refilling. just didn't want to cooperate. Watching the video helped me understand that I had to remove the plastic plug at the end of the filter before pouring, which I didn't see in the written instructions. It also gave me a visual idea of how to hold the fill filter. Watch the video!
