Gaskets fall out best in sinks
Gaskets that should fit in grooves on each side of the ring keep falling out making it difficult to place on the countertop. Also, the top and bottom of the ring are the same, meaning the seal at the top blends nicely into the curve of the jar's jacket, but at the bottom the seal ends up away from the counter and is completely unusable.
