Check for damage on my review.

I first bought a used one to save some money. It arrived damaged, the end of an arm had snapped off. No problem returning it aside from boxing it back up. UPS came to the house to get it and refund was processed quickly. Ordered a new one. For whatever reason it was less than the used one and in good shape. Assembly was easy, but a little clumsy in spots. It would help a bunch to use real tools and not what they provide. It would also help to have a second person to hold some parts to get them lined up. Chair looks nice and is comfy and solid feeling under my tall and well nourished frame. Even better when I get a spot to put up my feet. Now that it’s been together a bit I may go around and give everything a little snugging up. Update: we ordered a second chair, as my wife wanted one as well. Second time assembling one was significantly easier. Pro tip, use some real tools instead of what is provided. You’ll need a 10mm wrench, a 4mm Allen key and a Phillips screw driver. Ratcheting helps, as there are a lot of threads to go through. It speeds up the assembly a bunch and gets the hardware tighter. The instructions say don’t over tighten, but good tools work better. I snuggled up the first chair a bunch and it feels much more solid.Later bought another new chair. Got it all out of the box and it had two broken parts. The breaks were in a spot where they could be fixed with some epoxy and big clamps. Nice product, but the manufacturer really needs to address the damage issues in shipping with some more robust packaging. These are very difficult to pack back up to return.Sept 2022 - bought another chair. Packaging is much improved. Quality control a little lacking, it didn’t have holes drilled in a few spots, so I had to drill my own. No big deal but you need to line it up right to get it right. Also, since the lumber is plastic, it melts and gums up the drill bit pretty quickly.

Pros
  • The compact size of this chair makes it a great choice for apartments, condos, or other smaller living spaces
Cons
  • The chair may not have enough weight distribution, causing it to tip over easily
