I bought this motor because of the reviews about it. For the first time I did it. It's actually perfect to use. An animated owl whose head moves a little to one side and then back to the other side, maybe only 5-6 inches. He does his job very well. It doesn't get hot even after about 18 hours of work. Yes, I would recommend this for smaller projects that require a small motor.
