I love the monitoring system on this manikin and I find it helps students work at the right depth more often. This gives students and educators the ability to ensure compressions are accurate. I don't care too much about the respiratory system. The lungs stick together and it is difficult to see the visible rise and fall of the chest. Also, the head doesn't go back as far to perform the head tilt and chin lift. It also makes breathing difficult. I bought these pacifiers thinking they were better and more advanced than what I currently have, but the only thing better is the chest compression monitoring system. I am a teacher and teach many students. I have to admit that the students love it when the green lights come on.
