Review on 📷 SVPRO USB Web Camera 5.0 Megapixel Webcam with Zoom Lens 2.8-12mm: HD Streaming & Manual Focus Video Camera for Online Conferences by Greg Muin

We used this for the Zoombot hand station during the pandemic. It has a good zoom range, is easy to set up and very compact. But manual focus doesn't seem to cover the full zoom range; At the furthest zoom, it won't focus well on objects 15-20 feet away. I practiced but couldn't zoom and focus at the same time. So it's probably best if it can be mounted and left for a snap. I didn't do an image quality comparison; it was definitely better than the laptop's built-in camera. Processing quality is ok. Not impressive, but not cheap either. The zoom and focus knobs easily unscrew and fall out. They are also tightened to lock the setting in place. leading me to believe the use of "set it and forget it" was intentional.
