Review on 🍳 Deep Fry Basket, Lodge, 11.5-inch, Silver by Tim Jenkins

Newly received, cleaned, dried, cleaned before use. It goes perfectly with the 7 liter Lodge Pro-Logic Dutch Oven. It even made it easier to place paper towels on top of the lid during storage. Now before first use I had to stretch the rest loop a bit to make it fit after frying and draining oil. I wouldn't trust it to stay there when removing fried food with tongs. I would drip it onto a Dutch oven, then place it on a plate and scoop out the food with tongs. The first time I used it I made deep fried chicken thighs and they came out divine. After changing the rest loop I would say the basket performs admirably. There was even a place to leave a thermometer in the oil so I could monitor the frying temperature. It was relatively easy to clean as I said, and perfect for storing broilers as I mentioned. I fried 5-6 chicken thighs at a time, and "thin" is not the word I would use to describe this basket.
