I used this on a camping trip out in the desert, and I was glad I brought this along. At full brightness, the Luminaid will light up your tent like it's midday. I used it more on the lower settings for reading or doing some small tasks and the lamp was perfect for it. The velcro strap can be used to make it hang from the top of the tent. I didn't run out of battery over a 2 day trip, but I did set the lamp outside in the sun to help charge it as much as I could. I don't know how much it helped. I had 2 dots of battery left when I finished my trip.I will say that I do have my concern on the longevity of the product since getting the plug out to inflate can be tough. It almost felt like I was about to rip the lamp open while trying to get the inflation nipple to pop up. Just be careful so that way you don't damage your lamp.
