I bought this set for my daughter as an Easter present. She has been riding for a year and a half and although we don't have a horse she is learning how to take care of horses and is happy to help out in the stable. She has been asking for her own brush set for a long time and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity for her to do so. Because brushes and combs can be SO expensive, I wanted to give her a starter set, and this set is exactly that. The quality is by no means outstanding. It is mostly made of hard plastic and has that typical "Made in China" feel. However, it will give you returns, that's for sure. We bought a pink set which is pretty cute. If you are looking for quality, long-lasting horse grooming products, this is not the best choice. But for a beginner who only uses tools occasionally or is just starting to ride, this is good. If she keeps riding and using tools more often, we will definitely upgrade. But that's enough for your needs.
