Received the key in February. Went to the Home Depot today and cut it out. The cuts were excellent and I went to the parking lot and programmed following the instructions. Not programmed after two tries. I used to sell computerized and manual key making equipment to car dealers. I have provided updated data for car rentals in the 5 boroughs of New York and Long Island. I did this job for Curtis Industries which has partnered with Axxess Technologies. I've also sold code readers and programmers so it annoys me why they can't be programmed from the machine. Ford/Mercury programmed their keys with the Stargate Analyzer, which will cost me money for it. My keys open the doors and turn the ignition so I can get into the 2008 Mercury Sable Premier when I lock the keys. Of course, this is also possible with a nickel-plated blank key that HD gave me free of charge. I'll try again with the car's manual, maybe I'll have better luck.
