This works well in most cases. Releasing can sometimes be difficult as the locking pin has to be pushed out quite a bit before the jack starts to retract. Be careful when doing this as I have found hydraulic fluid will leak around this pin if you back it out too far. It was still running after that, so not all the liquid was drained. Now I need to figure out what hydraulic fluid needs to be refilled and if the pin extends all the way so I can refill.
